In collaboration with our customers, we will have ensured that more than 400,000 kg of raw materials will not have ended up on landfills, in the sea or in incinerators by 2021. In addition, 45,000 kilos less material was used and significant amounts of CO2 were saved through the use of innovative constructions and materials. Together, we turned worthless waste into valuable circular office furniture. The working environment at the office or at home changed into a resource bank where the healthy furniture is no longer a cost item without an identity but contributes as an investment to the sustainable proposition of the company. We made circular ambitions visible to everyone.

This year, the TRIBOO community grew considerably as organisations actively joined us in taking the step to DO something about the waste problem and the waste of our raw materials. By looking at the interior of their offices and homes differently and making different choices. In this way, we made a practical contribution together when it comes to using less material, less CO2 and creating less waste when making business operations more sustainable.

Being prepared to learn together, because nothing comes naturally and making mistakes is part of the game. Laughing together, experimenting with innovative techniques and making concrete steps towards the realisation of the waste-free society and the emergence of the circular economy.

And we got results. A total of 1,500 home offices have been furnished with #greengridz desktops, using 27,000 kg less material and 60% less CO2. We 3D printed 100% reusable table frames, lamps and plant pots from plastic waste. We turned NN policies and McDonalds' milkshake cups into high-profile furniture pieces. Our circular tables, chairs and lamps made from waste have been the first choice of architects in many leading projects.  

Our organisation grew and so did the impact of our brands. #GREENGRIDZ the lightweight furniture panel with a healthy mission became the first desktop in the world to be Nordic Swan certified. NeverEnding Furniture was launched with furniture whose raw material is 100% recyclable. TRIBOO NORDIC in Denmark made great strides together with major furniture manufacturers in Scandinavia. And our furniture programme was expanded with TROOOOP, where we turn existing products into beautiful, almost new products.

Together, we have made great strides in 2021 and we are proud of it. But we are not there yet, there is still much to do. In 2022, we are going to turn even more waste into high-profile circular products. We will once again come up with pioneering innovations that will ensure that the valuable raw materials we need for the future are stored in our interiors. And we will make sure that if you invest in interior design, you will eventually reap the rewards.
