Besides the well-known round plant pots and 'the sheep', TRIBOO now also has hanging, circular plant pots. These pots are made of plastic waste from old refrigerators. Using 3D robot printing, worthless 'waste' is turned into a high-profile, valuable circular product that is completely reusable at the end of its useful life.
Each pot contains nine kilos of pure raw material. When the municipality of Amsterdam no longer needs the pots, TRIBOO takes them back and turns them into another circular product. In this way, a refrigerator is transformed into a plant pot and later into a table. We don't waste any more raw materials and don't throw anything away. TRIBOO takes care of that.
In their current form, the 30 circular plant pots create a visual separation between the spaces. This creates a pleasant, light environment with a healthy effect on the indoor climate. Each pot contributes to solving the problem of waste and makes the circular economy visible to everyone. It provides more oxygen to feed the brain during the training and education provided in this unique building.

The circular products of TRIBOO are made in the Netherlands. By producing locally, using local raw materials and working with top designers from the Netherlands, we create a strong proposition that improves employment in the Netherlands. We reduce CO2 emissions by not using new raw materials, applying efficient production techniques and travelling few kilometres.
Everything is temporary and we cannot own anything. Because we as humans cannot deal with ownership, we throw away raw materials and they are destroyed in the incinerators. We make sure that raw materials are not thrown away anymore but are reused and made into other circular products. And when you are finished with it, we continue with it! TRIBOO remains the owner of the raw materials and together we make sure they are not thrown away again. At the end of the product's life, we pay you back the raw material value of the product and turn it into other circular products!
