NN'S PLANTERS ARE THE RAW MATERIAL FOR YOUR CIRCULAR MEETING TABLE
Hundreds of planters were no longer needed at the offices of Nationale Nederlanden in The Hague and Rotterdam. Instead of throwing all the valuable raw materials into the container to be burned as waste, NN came up with the perfect circular solution in the Workspace2020 project, together with TRIBOO. The raw materials will return to the office, not as plant pots but as high-profile circular meeting tables.
This robust meeting table is made of four or eight flower boxes depending on the size. Layered in a distinctive fishbone pattern, it provides a chic appearance. The difference between reuse and recycling is that in the case of reuse, the product is reused in its application, whereas in the case of recycling, the steel is melted down to make a new or different steel product.
