NN'S PLANTERS ARE THE RAW MATERIAL FOR YOUR CIRCULAR MEETING TABLE

Hundreds of planters were no longer needed at the offices of Nationale Nederlanden in The Hague and Rotterdam. Instead of throwing all the valuable raw materials into the container to be burned as waste, NN came up with the perfect circular solution in the Workspace2020 project, together with TRIBOO. The raw materials will be brought back to the office, not as plant pots but as controversial circular meeting tables. Depending on its size, this robust meeting table is made of four or eight flower boxes. It is laid in an elegant fishbone pattern. The table can be made from various types of wood waste from your organisation. / Dimensions: 2750x1200x760mm | 3000x1000x760mm | 4500x1500x760mm

Handmade

Made by hand in the Netherlands. Innovative craftsmanship resting on years of experience and love for making furniture. With passion for the most sustainable and circular materials, raw materials are extracted from waste streams and shaped into high-profile interiors. Professional craftsmen skilled in working with wood, metal, plastic and textiles.

CNC

Computer Numerical Control or CNC for short refers to the process of removing material with high-speed precision machines that use a wide range of cutting tools. These machines are used to process materials such as wood, plastics, stone, composites and metal to make circular office furniture.

What started with viewing a 3D printed tulip vase and then driven by commitment and enthusiasm, many more circular solutions turned out to be possible, which were eventually realized in the building. TRIBOO gave "working together on housing" a much broader dimension and a story to go with it.

Pieter and Peter find it very interesting and fun to work with TRIBOO. They deliver products that are completely in line with our circular objectives. They take us along in the development and knowledge of materials, binding techniques and modular constructions made on Dutch soil. They simply show us what it is made of and that appeals. They also help us tell "the circular story".

Massaro: 'We chose this furniture because it is made of worthless waste that would otherwise have made a negative impact on our planet. Now the waste has become cool and fun furniture. All those thousands of employees and visitors who will be using the rooms will see the story, read it, and may be inspired to do the same'.
