Everyone listens to songs, podcasts and audio books digitally through apps via Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Microsoft Groove Music and Soundcloud. Cases, CDs and DVDs are thrown away en masse and often disappear into household waste, so that these resources are burned and lost forever. This can also be done differently, so that there is music again in the data carriers that for so long have had a positive impact on our brains, emotions and behaviour. Deliver your covers, cd's and dvd's to TRIBOO now and join us in creating a high-profile circular table made from your own waste! Memories of the past are reflected and echoed in the conversations held at a table with a great story.

DELIVER SLEEVES, CD'S OR DVD'S AND WE PRESS THEM INTO A TABLE

Turn in 4,082 CD cases and press a circular meeting table of 2920 x 1220 x 760mm with a 40mm thick top. If you want to make a nice side table for the reception in an army or marble look, hand in 300 sleeves and you will receive a round table with a top diameter of 500mm, thickness of 30mm and height of 440mm. The digital medium that once made music sound is now going to tell stories again as a table.

Presses

With the press, waste plastics and natural fibres are turned under high pressure and heat into sheets that are used to make circular furniture. The raw materials harvested from the plastic waste are old children's toys, soap bottles, CD cases, crates, lamps, garden furniture and household appliances. The natural fibres are extracted from old milk cartons, hemp, coffee grounds, old clothes, wood chips, paper and cardboard.

CNC

Computer Numerical Control or CNC for short refers to the process of removing material with high-speed precision machines that use a wide range of cutting tools. These machines are used to process materials such as wood, plastics, stone, composites and metal to make circular office furniture.

What started with viewing a 3D printed tulip vase and then driven by commitment and enthusiasm, many more circular solutions turned out to be possible, which were eventually realized in the building. TRIBOO gave "working together on housing" a much broader dimension and a story to go with it.

Pieter and Peter find it very interesting and fun to work with TRIBOO. They deliver products that are completely in line with our circular objectives. They take us along in the development and knowledge of materials, binding techniques and modular constructions made on Dutch soil. They simply show us what it is made of and that appeals. They also help us tell "the circular story".

Massaro: 'We chose this furniture because it is made of worthless waste that would otherwise have made a negative impact on our planet. Now the waste has become cool and fun furniture. All those thousands of employees and visitors who will be using the rooms will see the story, read it, and may be inspired to do the same'.
